Practicing

Last week We got to see Mercedes to practice her ballet & tap for the christmas concert coming in two weeks . They are practicing really hard but also they are enjoying what they do  " to dance" .

"To touch , to move , to inspire . This is the true gift of dance".

Enjoying the snow

This week we came out of the deep freeze and enjoyed temperatures of +5 C. Mercedes begs to go outside everyday but many times is too cold so this day was the perfect day for her to play in the snow . And I am glad that Sabina decided to join us as well.

Chirstmas spirit

December is my favorite month because I love Chritmass, it is love in action.  And Jesus is the reason for  the season . The church asked every child to bring on sunday something little to decorate the Christmas tree , something that you want for Chirstmas. I sat down with my daughters to talk about this beautiful season  , that  the big meaning is not that we will recieve presents and that santa claus is coming to town , so ,we decided that we want peace in the families ,  peace in  the word first of all the things .

Mercedes's authentic smile

She loves to laugh and loud ,  it is a good thing !  When I was telling her a story today she was laughing like crazy so I took a few photos of her "Authentic beautiful smile" as it is totally different when they say 'cheese" .  

There is not nothing more beautiful than to see my kids playing and laughing .

Caramel apples

We bought the caramel apple kit today , and it is a good thing . These were easy , fun to make and delicious.

Ours might not be  as pretty  as the one on the box. We used red apples and green apples.

Snow 2011

If you ask me how I felt this morning when I heard Mercedes to say :" Mami finally winter is here " I was like ohhh that mean snow in the ground but then I looked at her and she was so happy , That make me strong brave and happy too . Mercedes told me today : Mami I know winter is not your favorite season but I love it and dont worry spring is on the way LOL .
I feel so good when I see those photos and I could captured those real moments , those real feelings of happiness in her little face , all because it was snowed . I wish I could take some photos of Sabina but she was sleeping plus She does not like the cold so much .

Halloween 2011

This year Mercedes wanted to wear a witch custome for halloween night  .

Sabina & Mercedes had so much fun carving those pumpkins , making them eyes and nose of carrots . Great moments.

This time we planted spider plants.

Mercedes's school was requesting for healthy  treats intead candies .

I  had also a little lady bug . Thiis halloween 2011 we had lots of fun , we took the kids to different activities and all we had a great time.
