April 3 of 2011.  Spring time is here and to see the kids laughing and playing outside  , the water running , the grass coming out , the birds happy , those  are the first signs of Spring .  That does not have a  price.

This week is dedicated to Sabina , We love her so much!  She is 30 months old , loves to play Princess dress up and loves to dance.  We want to make sure her activities are mixed with fun outings so, here she is doing what she likes, playing outdoors with stones. I call her my little bird because she is always bringing home grass, leaves or tree branches.Four steps she did with the stones in these pictures:

 May 15 , We went for  a walk around Devonian garden,  We enjoy  nature and this is a good place ! Kids really enjoy the simple things of the life like looking at  the shapes of the clouds, the sound of the water , smelling the flowers etc . 

  We went to Banff  the last long weekend , it was a great trip and lots of fun .

Mercedes really wanted to ride horses so we took her to the riding stables , she picked the horse she wanted  ,

that was the only thing she wanted to talk about for the rest of the day .

This picture was taken the last day after we had a good time at the hot spring pool.

Yesterday, on  May  26  Mercedes had a picture day at her dance academy ,  we went to her favorite beauty salon and  you can see in those photos the way she was feeling  "very pretty " with that beautiful costume , make up ,hair done etc All those little  princess stuff she loves to do .

First week of june , it is a great week & month . Time goes by so quicke. 

I started  this month taking  photos of yellow stuff  .

Robert's birthday , it was a fun day . We spent the day at home , we ordered food , cake and drinks . He did not wanted a big party , only wanted to spend the day with his 3 daughters.
I had to post those photos as the theme for this week for my blog are yellow stuff ! and  , I had some yellow stuff at the birthday party .
He loved his Mickey calendar :).

What I will remember from this day! June 6 of 2011.

My Sabina playing in the park, the warm sun on her face as she swings, slides and plays in the sand - These are the sweet memories I will remember for a lifetime :)

The day was warm enough so as soon as we get to the park she took off her little shoes .  Also She was collecting some yellow flowers to bring home .

Yes, it was a rainy week too , hopefully we can have more  hot summer days. I remember  today I was driving and complaining about the rainy weather. My daughter Mercedes told me "Mommy the flowers and trees need the rain so you should not be complaining about the rain."  That made me change the way I look at the rainy day and think more positively.

 And finally a dear friend brought this little present  . I will remember it forever and I do believe she is a good person and a great friend :) not beacuse of the present but becuase of who she is.

Four years later Mercedes is a big litte girl , full of energy and love for the life  . She loves Robert so much as
a dad and is very proud of him, Also Sabina. Mercedes made this neckle for father's day , She asked me to help her to cut the hearts and letters that say "love you dad" I was more than happy to do that for her.

Sabina is now almost 3 years old .

A day in the park . The moment  may be temporary but the memory forever.

On July 2 , it was a beautiful sunny day so we  went to river valley to have a picnic  and go biking .

Mercedes trying to read one of the books she got for her baptizm , it is easy for her to undertand what the book says as it has big letters with pretty pictures .

August , it has been a good month so far , the weather has been nice enough so we are still outside with bare feet and our summer clothing having fun for the  last days . Already I can see fall is around the corner , the air is more chilly and trees are changing color.

I told Sabina to get ready  to go shopping so this is the outfit she picked ,  a red umbrella, a hat, a minie mouse dress :)  . It is very cloudy and it might rain very soon so I guess she knows about the weather .

Back to school .

This time Mercedes went to  her first day of kindergarten so no more playschool for her as she tells me all the time :)  . She was very happy like never before and that made me happy as well .

First day of kindergarten , it was very cold so she wake up and checked the weather , went to her closet and picked her outfit for that day , I love all those moments and  all those  beautiful memories will last forever .

The life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child and the smiling faces . Smell the rain and feel the wind. Live your life to you fullest potencial , and fight for your dreams.

It is amazing to see how beautiful is everything outside and it is becuase Atumm is here , We are all enjoying as much as we can .

This  strawberry  & banana cupcake is the most beautiful and tasty I have ever seem , it is because Mercedes made it at her school ! She choose little hearts to decorate it ! They have cooking class every week . Next week they will be making vegetables salad !

On the road ...
I use to go for  a walk everyday or when I can so , I enjoy doing 2 hobbies at the same time, to walk and photography !

Wordless friday

October mood !

First week of october, this is what we have been living , lots of rain lately , grey & colds days !

Halloween mood on this month as well ! This  beautiful little  butterfly wants to fly very high and make her dreams come true!

Precious Moments

Sabina had a rough night last night. She wakes up scared there are monsters under her bed. Mercedes  went through this at this age. I found her at midnight, sleeping in a couch at  Mercede's room and I just couldn't leave her there when all she wanted was to come and sleep with me. I took her to our bed, much to my husbands dismay! she  snuggled right up against my chest, with her face in my neck and held onto my arm with her two little hands. she stayed like that all night and I had the worst sleep I had had in a long time, but I find these moments so precious and I want to savour them! She is 3, and soon enough he won't want to cuddle anymore...

Visiting the corn maze,

We went to the corn maze to keep the kids busy and spend some family time outdoors since the weather was nice.  Now, Sabina was happy and liked the place , it was very interesting for her.

Mercedes did not enjoy the corn maze so much  , she was saying that place was very dirty and rough.  The only two thing She liked was  the face painting and the pumpkins !

Living in this country and raising kids in Canada there is a day we can not forget, Remembrace day is it.

It is a special day to wear a red poppy  and to  remember all the veterans who died in the first and second wars and the korean war. They died  for their homes , families and friends . They died for a future filled with freedom , they died for Canada.
